Meta presents Rolling Stone Live at the Arrive Hotel in Palm Springs, CA 04/16/22

On the Saturday of the first Weekend of the world-famous Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Rock and Pop culture icon Rolling Stone (for over 50 years) returned for it's third year, along with American technology conglomerate, Meta who's CEO is non-other than Mark Zuckerberg (parent company of Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instrgam to name a few of the approximately 91 acquired companies), to present festival goers with and exclusive invite-only day-time pool party & creator house activation and experience titled "Rolling Stone Live" at the unique adult-only and modern industrial designed Arrive Hotel in Palm Springs (1551 N Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA, 92262).

The two hosting brands developed a unique and engaging experience for those lucky to have been invited to not only party pool-side, but to also explore the products and tools that support creators' storytelling ambition such as Reels, Meta Quest 2 VR headsets, and newest and coolest Ray-Ban Stories Smart Glasses which released a festival limited edition blue version with orange lens of their of their classic Wayfarer frame style glasses with their temple signature gold finish (only 2022 pairs made).

Doors opened at 12 noon, and upon arrival, guests were treated to live music, DJ sets, swag and drinks from event supporting sponsors till 6pm when the event was over.

Ciroc Vodka, whom premiered their first ever Ciroc Vodka Spirtz canned cocktails.

New Zealand's Matua Wine, poured their fresh, fruit forward and utterly unique wines Sauvignon Blanc (credited as the first New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc), Lighter Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Pinot Noir.

Origin water provided the H2O to keep everyone hydrated with a water sampling station.

Reign Energy made sure to keep all in attendance energized with their energy drinks.

Core Foods handed out their nutrition bars which come in 6 different flavors to keep your core happy.

Tractor Beverage Co provided endless frozen and refreshing samples of their certified organic, non-GMO, non-corn syrup, and made from only real ingredients drinks (only served at partner restaurants such as Chipotle, Umami Burger, Ike's, Dog Haus, and Capital One Cafe to name a few), guaranteed to make your mouth water.

Lucky Brand hosted a pop-up shop so that you can upgrade your festival attire on the spot if needed with some of their latest styles of jeans, denim jackets, shorts, t-shirts, hats and more.

And last but not least, my favorite hands down, Madre! Oaxacan Restaurant and Mezcaleria (Torrence, Culver City, West Hollywood) mixed up some refreshing and delicious poolside Smoked Mezcal Margarita cocktails that had guests lining up over and over again for seconds, thirds, and more, lol, for reals.

Guests enjoyed live performances by, Grace McKagan (daughter of Duff "Rose" McKagan of Guns N' Roses) who's style is a blend of alternative rock punk performed “One You Love” and “I’m Ready" and captivated the crowd with her blend of alternative rock and punk music. BLXST who performed several of his hits including "No Love Lost," "Chosen," and "Peru," which were crowd favorites. Garrett Seamans better known by his stage name Carwash performed songs off his 2021 EP "Soap Water."

In-between the live performances, guest enjoyed DJ sets from James Hype whom dropped his latest remix of the Mamas & the Papas “California Dreamin." Denise Love Hewitt, Tolula Adeyemi, and Coachella festival veteran Gryffin who played a mix of crowd favorites which including The Killers “Mr Brightside” and Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” along with several more of his tracks.

Brazilian-American Victoria's Secret Angel (2004-2017) and first ever Pink Spokesperson (2006), Alessandra Ambrosio, and boyfriend, Richard Lee, who models for Wilhelmina and LA Models, both attended the party and hung out in the Matua Wine Chill Zone with some friends.

Rolling Stone and Meta did have some help in making this event such a success. The two counted on the help of hotel and nightlife partners, Resort World Las Vegas (the newest Las Vegas mega-resort and hot spot) and Zouk Group (global nightlife clubbing experience pioneer) to bring that Las Vegas pool-party vibe to the California desert.

Can't wait to head back next year to the desert for the next Rolling Stone Live party!
